The 2015 season has finally come to a close, and the relatively short wait for Opening Day 2016 has begun! Our yearly tradition of providing an Opening Day countdown clock continues this year… see below!
Kennywood opens Saturday, May 7th at 10:30 am!

Kennywood has posted their 2015 season calendar on their web site. Opening Day is May 2nd, 2015, and gates open at 11:00 am! A countdown to Opening Day is below for you diehard fans out there!
Phantom Fright Nights hours have changed for 2015. The park will now open at 6:00 pm rather than 7:00 pm and will close at Midnight rather than 1:00 am. We’re told this change was made was due to a law preventing Kennywood’s team members under the age of 18 from working past Midnight during the school year. This also means that on the Sunday they are open for Fright Nights, we’ll get five hours rather than four (6:00 – 11:00)!
