Kennywood wouldn’t be an amusement park without a set of bumper cars in its ride lineup. Unlike some other bumper car rides out there, Potato Smash doesn’t restrict your motion to one direction around a circle. Here, riders can travel in any direction on the rectangular floor as they try to bump into their friends and family. The ride was originally named Gran Prix but received new cars themed to the park’s iconic Potato Patch fries in the 2024 season.

Riders must be at least 42″ tall to ride.
Riders between 42″ and 48″ must ride with a responsible person.
Riders must be at least 48″ to drive.
