Kennywood has released their new ride for the 2012 season… Black Widow! Black Widow is a Giant Discovery from manufacturer Zamperla. The ride will stand at 90 feet tall, but will swing riders to heights of 146 feet! For all of the details on the ride, check out the official press release here.

We had a pretty good feeling this was coming, but now we know for sure. 2011 was the last season for Kennywood’s famous drop-tower, Pitt Fall. The last day it will be operating, also Kennywood’s last regular-season operating day for 2011, is Sunday, September 18th.
