For the past four seasons something has been missing from Kennywood. Since the removal of the Garden Stage at the end of the 2005 season there were no live music shows at Kennywood. The King Kahuna has been removed from the park. Kennywood Connection has learned the fountain will remain and the area will be converted into a garden for the 2010 season.
According to an update on the Kennywood Park Website the park will introduce a Season Pass that will go on sale in March. The price will be $89.99 and will not include Phantom Fright Nights. The update also states that only a limited number of these Season Passes will be available and will be sold on first come first serve basis.
Premier has released drawings of the new trains for Sky Rocket. As you can see from the renderings below the trains will be open air, and will not feature over the shoulder restraints but just a lap bar. You know what that means, no head banging inversions and plenty of air time!
