WATER RIDES
Pittsburg Plunge
Opened: 1995 | Builder: O.D. Hopkins | Model: Shoot-the-Chute

Built for the 1995 season as part of the park's Lost Kennywood, the Pittsburg Plunge is a reworked version of the old Shoot-the-Chute boat rides of the early 1900s. After plunging down the 50 foot drop, a gigantic splash is created that soaks both riders and onlookers. Riders must be at least 36" to ride.

Raging Rapids
Opened: 1985 | Builder: Intamin AG | Model: Rapids Ride

If you're looking to get soaked on a hot summer day, the Raging Rapids is the ride for you. Simulating a white-water rafting trip through canyons and beneath waterfalls, this is by far Kennywood's wildest and wettest water ride. Riders must be at least 36" tall to ride.

Log Jammer
Opened: 1975 | Builder: Arrow Dynamics| Model: Flume Ride

Kennywood's first multi-million dollar ride, the Log Jammer is a classic flume water ride built by Arrow Dynamics. Although it is the park's mildest water ride, it still offers guests the chance to cool off on hot summer days without getting drenched. The ride consists of a 27-foot spillway and a final 53-foot high chute. Riders must be at least 36" tall to ride.
