Following the 2007 season, the Gold Rusher was removed to make way for the new Ghostwood Estate. This state-of-the art ride consists of an eight room haunted house filled with numerous computer generated images and animatronics. Armed with blasters, guests compete with others by shooting over 200 interactive targets as they traverse through the estate along a trackless system. Riders under 46" must ride with a responsible person.

Not taking multiple new themes into account over the years, this is Kennywood's oldest ride. Most recently, following the 2003 season, Kennywood performed a major scenary overhaul on its oldest ride, the Old Mill, by incorporating everyone's favorite cat into the ride. Consisting of several scenes in bright fluorescent colors under black light, Garfield's Nightmare offers guests of all ages a three dimensional ride through Garfield's world as it is turned upside down. Riders under 46" must ride with a responsible person.

Today, Noah's Ark remains as one of only two remaining walk-through rides of its kind in the world. Over the years, this ride has been rebuilt and re-themed (most recently in 1996) and offers guests the opportunity to embark on an adventure through the famous Ark of Noah. Riders under 46" must ride with a responsible person.
