Built: 1936
Completely rebuilt: 1996
Kennywood's
famous ark was built in 1936. This ride has also been rebuilt and
re-themed many times over the years. In 1996 Noah's Ark was completely
rebuilt, and updated with new high tech thrills.
Think about this! In 1936 Noah built an Ark at Kennywood, he had to cope
with a flood, and the Ark opened late. In 1996 Noah reconstructed that
Ark at Kennywood, again he had cope with a flood, and the Ark opened
late.
